Psychology and Humanism

Area Overview      Area Glossary

Area Dean:

Reid Johnson, Ph.D.

Faculty:

Reid Johnson, Ph.D.

We think, therefore we are, right? Well, the Psychology and Humanism study area examines how we think what we think, how we learn what we know, and why we behave as we do, all within a framework of scientific methodology and empirical evidence. The courses in this area explore the scientific basis for beliefs and attitudes and invite students to think about what it means to successfully adapt to life's opportunities and challenges.
