June Solstice

The northern solstice on the earth occurs in June according to the Gregorian calendar. Common are June 20 and June 21. It is therefore also known as June solstice in Western culture. In the Northern Hemisphere it is the summer solstice, in the Southern Hemisphere it is the winter solstice.
